This evening's repast: bacon-wrapped turkey

Achaosofkittens filled the fridge for me this weekend. So tonight, I took over the kitchen like a slow-motion steamroller. This evening's repast was bacon-wrapped turkey breast, scalloped potatoes, stuffing (out of a box), and fresh tomatoes. It was, but a bit salty. I need to think about better sides to help contrast to the salty/sweet.

What I didn't do, and you certainly should, was coat the turkey in herbed butter before putting on the bacon. One of the recipes called for garlic/dill and one called for rosemary/peppercorn.

Awesome bacon weave!!!

I almost always wrap my turkey in bacon. :) But I don't usually eat the bacon along with the turkey - the bacon usually gets repurposed elsewhere (sandwiches or quiche) or eaten on its own.

That looks amazing and the tomatoes look gorgeous!
