LAMB in the place where you live!

On Saturday, I pulled an ancient lamb roast out of the chest freezer, unwrapped the paper and set it to defrost in a pan in the refrigerator. Given the layer of ice on the meat, and the paper wrapping, I was expecting something that had only an even-odds chance of being edible ( Read more... )

They are great so long as you have a plan for the results. It's a lot of food for one person, which is why I specified here that I used the little crock pot. That lamb and potatoes dish is still probably five or six servings, depending on what else I put with it, but I don't feel bad if I have to throw the last bit to the dog/goats/trash.

SPAM in the place where I live (ham and pork)!

I know Spam way better than Stand, to be sure. I've been playing the UHF soundtrack in my car as the random non-radio entertainment for a while now because I keep forgetting to move my CD sleeve back over from the truck. So yeah, lots of Weird Al in my head.
