ACDC should be awesome! I know a few peeps going - everyone is soooo excited. :D

yay! 4 more weeks. (though I am not looking forward to the 11 week one next term!). And by this "shit"... maybe parents? other staff? admin? All of the above...?!

And you know I haven't seen any reactions to jared's wedding. well not on LJ. It's as though it never happened. All I've seen is a picture of him, Jensen and Clif.

Thanks Ash AC/DC was indeed fantastic although I heard on the news tonight some mutterings about legal decibel levels - but I wasn't deaf at all the next day and I was in the front row standing room! And YES to all of the above - regarding your identification of the "shit" of which I speak!

Seriously this whole NAPLAN thing has got everyone's undies in a twist. Talk about exaggerating the importance of one test! I'll be glad once May 14th rolls around and it's all done and dusted for the year. 'Cept then I'll be expected to start prepping the Year 8s! Argh!

Oh man! I just had to jump in here to have my own little rant about NAPLAN! We have 2 different teachers "specialising" in getting ready for NAPLAN. They come into the class and administer mock tests. Twice a week! Plus, we have an EA doing what's called "mastery" spelling program and takes kids out one morning a week to test them on previous NAPLAN spelling words.... ARGGGGGGGG!!!!

My as well forget the syllabus and just teach to the test!

*gets off soapbox* It's a grumbling point in out school too. :)
