Woohoo!! ACDC tonight folks! I will be seeing the Supernatural soundtrack LIVE baby! And what a propitious occasion on Mr Redteekal's birthday no less! How many people do I know personally all born on March 6th - FOUR that's how many. And whilst you may give me a sideways look and think "Well now...that's not an awful lot." Thanks Rene - AC/DC was awesome and Mr Red had a great b'day :))...I've been meaning to reply to this for the last 3 days but RL is kicking ass again.

Anyway - the six roadtrips recommended by Lonely Planet are: 1) Route 66 Historic Journey - from LA to Chicago going through AZ, NM, TX, OC, MI and IL. 2)Pacific Coast Highway - which is basically the entire coast of California 3)National Parks of the West - California to Montana 4) The Great River Road - Along the Mississipi 5)Blue Ridge Parkway - Miles of Mountains starting near Charlottesville in Virginia and travelling through t0 Cherokee in Georgia and lastly number 6) Coastal New England - Cape Cod to Bar Harbor.

I'm not sure which of those would be the best - I'm liking Route 66 simply for the number of States it goes through but I also want to see your National Parks. We also want to do Disneyland in Florida. And I'm honestly in two minds for whether we schedule it or play it by ear. We are driving over the border from Canada as we start in Vancouver. Mr Red is keen to do some domestic flights to save time on driving but I'm thinking driving is the best way to see everything. Just not sure of the time frame needed. I'm keen on seeing the major cities and some of the out of the way, not so touristy places as well. I should probably make a list of all the things I definitely want to see and go from there. See what you think of the list and then ask my flist for suggestions if I've left anything out ;-)
