The Fires that Devastate

I've been wanting to post on this all day but now is my first chance. I live in Perth and luckily we have been untouched by the catastropically devastating bushfires that have struck the eastern states of Victoria and New South Wales. I am still waiting to hear if friends have been affected by this horrible event. So many deaths. The disgusting

I know that Perth and Fremantle are a long way from Kinglake and Victoria. But still, take care, okay? Have you heard from your friends there yet? I hope they are all safe.

Wellll.... I don't have a dog (kitty person), so I can't enter the virtual show, but it looks like a wonderful idea. So I went into the Australian Red Cross instead and did something there.

I hope you and your family and all of your friends will be alright. Your country is in my thoughts and prayers.

The Virtual Dog Show is a lovely idea.

The disgusting thing is some of these fires have probably been deliberately lit or relit.
I saw that on the news today and couldn't believe it. It's a terrible tragedy already, but that someone caused it just adds to the horror.
