I am feeling like I need to make a post here to mark several milestones, happenings, momentous occasions etc etc.
Things to do with fandom, movies, television, music, travel, travel blogs, puppies and what an actual real live cold winter is.

Just read your entire US travel blog! Your pictures are amazing, and reading your perspective is very happy-making for me :)

It always puzzles me how much fan-grousing there is over SPN. The cast is so lovely, why can't we just enjoy them?

Thanks! Yes it is puzzling I'll give you that. Ahh well. I'm certainly getting IMMENSE enjoyment out of the cast and crew. Certainly getting my money's worth :)

Starting with the last thing - my fave song right now is Sovereign Light Cafe

I caught a tiny bit of the kerfuffle about the PCA voting - backlash against Danneel for saying she was voting for Jensen, then more baclash when she said she'd voted for Jared too. Honestly I am so glad I steer clear of tumblr and twitter when it is full of so much hate. I just don't get it.

I am a Dean girl through and through, and think Jensen is hot like burning but Jared is the most adorable, funny, gorgeous guy and Misha is a hero - so quite frankly, if these folk have nothing good to say they should just keep their mouths shut. They don't seem to understand that all of the actors are real people who have feelings. If a load of people were on social media sites slagging them off in the way that they slag off these actors, they would be weeping crumbling messes. Grrr it makes me so angry!!

Then like you say, fandom comes up trumps for Jared in the BiLLe so one has to hope that the good people outnumber the dickheads after all.

I've decided ignorance is bliss or in this case I'd rather NOT hear about douchey stuff because A Can't do anything about it B It's always there no matter what fandom, club, organisation, government, job you're in and C It's just nicer to pretend I'm surrounded only by those like minded saner folk who can tell the difference between reality and fantasy and actually realise that being a fan does NOT mean the actor/celeb/celeb's family member works for you.

I don't know what happened
I think that last week the constant campaigning all of us were doing everywhere finally paid of and got people to participate.

THREE MONTHS IN A ROW?
And there are lots of other SPN alumni on the list we can push to a win next year. Richard Speight Jr. and Jim Beaver are next on my list, followed by Mark Sheppard and so on.

Jensen's Photo ops and M&G sell out before Jared's.
Well, I for one don't even buy Jensen solo-ops anymore.
Would probably get one at a Creation one once more, but other than that, I rather spend that money on another Jared op. I get so much more for my money with those.

And the PCA's will be a no brainer for us. There will be 3 Glass Vaginas heading to the Supernatural home of that I have no doubt.
I expect the same, or at least 2. With the third - my guess is that most will once again choose Jensen over Jared *le sigh* Maybe Captain Tightpants should win that after all.

One person is up to over 65 thousand votes already and voting doesn't close till January! I've put a measly 2000

PCA's should be interesting. I hope we win. Only one more week to go now.

Everything reverts back to zero but I'm not so sure it's a good thing now that Jensen is not picking up the cheque. I hope Jared accepts his :)
