Professionals zine postponed
Unfortunately due to a lack of submissions at this time, Red Shirt Press' Professionals zine has been put on hold. We still have some amazing Lorraine Brevig artwork that we'd like to use for a Pros zine, but with the current atmosphere in fandom that is leaning more towards publishing on the 'Net than to traditional paper zines, at this point we are not hopeful that a zine will be published anytime in the near future.
Red Shirt Press loves zines and the feel of them in your hands, but we do understand that times in fandom are changing and with more and more zine publishers having trouble getting submissions, we are starting to think it may be time to hang up our publishing hats, so to speak.
At the moment, we are not planning on closing down, just contemplating our options. In fact, we have been asked to re-release some of our other zines that were out-of-print (Stargate Atlantis' Military Intelligence and a Smallville zine), so those are projects we are considering at this time. If we do decide to re-issue them, please check back here for information on how to purchase them.
