Shipwrecked and comatose

Watchers of space-telly may be aware that Red Dwarf has recently returned to British TV screens. While its glorious peak was probably some time in the past, the new series has stirred a fond nostalgia in me and even made me giggle out loud a couple of times. So here's a quick tribute to one of the funniest bits of the last few weeks.

I just watched the latest ep. I wasn't expecting much but it's better than the Kochanski eps!

Yeah, it's definitely an upturn after the Kochanski years. Those episodes contained a grand total of two amusing things: Lister and Rimmer snogging, and the "Arnold, Arnold, Arnold Rimmer" song!

The RImmer song almost made up for the rest--I hurt myself laughing--but even that couldn't rescue it.

That's a good point. Although Jack does at least try to help, usually by having sex with anything...
