Yeah! You've updated! I've soo been looking forward to this. Love Jack's reaction to the contents of Dean's pockets.

Eagerly anticipating the next installment.

Thanks for your enthusiasm. I'm glad you liked this latest chapter. I'll try to get the next one up sooner, but at this point I offer no promises.

Yay, another chapter!

I love that Jack was going, "Why would he have salt?" when Dean started emptying his pockets. Ha ha! That was my favorite moment in this chapter. Jack and Tealc eating the M&Ms was awesome too. Dean's a bad influence. *glee!*

Who doesn't like M&M's? I'm glad you liked Jack's take on the salt. You have to admit, it is really, really weird.

Those little M&M tubes are handy, aren't they?

Loved the update!

Wow, I guess you really like it then. I'll try to get more out soonish, but real life's been kind of hectic of late so don't expect too much.

I understand completely about rl. sometimes i'm offline for days/weeks at a time, plus my own chronic illness issues interfere with participation (wanted to be a beta reader but realized that I can't do deadlines).

so whenever you post, that's good.

I really like crossovers between the sg universe and spn, but have found that the characters' voices and/or the device(s) used to mesh the universes can be, um, underwhelming sometimes. like, there's a fic with a cool plot device but the characters aren't fully recognizable. or the voices are great but the fic is a bit of fluff that doesn't go anywhere, which can be nice for a quickie but is a bit disappointing, given the immense potential for a plot/structure (ie casefic in either uni). So that's why i'm really enjoying this one-- the voices are spot-on, the bits of jack pov especially, and there's also a great, fairly believable device to get dean to the sgc, which figures importantly in the plot.
in conclusion, yay! fic!

I know what you mean. I'm a crossover addict myself, but I think people often have trouble writing believable ones. I once read this great essay, On Crossing Over, about how to classify different shows and the best ways to mesh them and I think it's really helped me in writing my own crossovers. I think the trick is to have a) a good grasp of all the characters, b) an entirely plausible reason for everyone to be there that is integral to the story and c) don't over-share. The last one is especially important; some of the funniest moments in crossovers I've written stem from the fact the various characters know almost nothing about each other.
