No kidding. You must get it because you live around lots of old white people too. They are bitter, bitter, bitter about a black man in the White House. About openly gay people on TV. About women working--- even the women! I see it all the time and overhear conversations in restaurants. It's ugly.

What I find kind of funny is that they have all these TAKE AMERICA BACK billboards all up and down 95 here, and you KNOW they mean TAKE IT BACK FROM THE HISPANICANS AND OMG DARK PPLZ and yet they elected Rubio. Hmmmmmm.

Also am seeing a lot of "STOP SOCIALISM. IT IS UN AMERICAN" billboards up and down 95. Only a matter of time before Bachmann et. al. reinstitute HUAC.

Letter is a righteous rant, but

I'd be a lot more sanguine about things if I did not believe that the people the letter is addressed to both can and will break the country apart rather than allow the country to come to point mentioned in it.
