The Halloween Party was a great success. I would like to thank Skatha_mare, rachelly_13, Steve, Amber, and Adam for helping to decorate

So happy to help! It was fun decorating (not to mention Skatha_Mare's nobake cookies - yummmm).
I don't think its too much to ask for people to contribute, but unless you tell people what you want/need, you'll end up with either a bunch of the same stuff OR the things people don't like from their liquor cabinet (there's a bottle of some coconut stuff that we've moved 3 times and still haven't drunk - should probably get rid of that)...
Requesting a bottle of booze to restock is very reasonable. Booze comes in many price ranges and it will definitely get you an assortment. I think I still have an extra sake set I've been wondering what to do with. I'll see about directing it your way. I'm not much of a sake drinker.
Yes most definitely reasonable on the stocking front. I agree with the above that a checklist of somesort would produce the best mix but it did seem we used to get a good assortment at the Grove. Of course, there was still a bottle of Drambuie left when we moved that I'm not sure will ever get drunk. We would love to come to next shindig. Don't think the sake party would work, too much autumn stuff, but when-ish is winter thingamahoozit?
I love halloween parties and halloween in general. If you have next year, or any year, I could bring my spider blood punch: rums, orange juice & liquer, apricot brandy, gingerale, caribbean spicing and spider sacrifices for effect.
I was noticing a decided lack of unenthusiasm from everyone, including children, this year. I think we saw a total of 12 other kids trick or treating. All the houses were ready and stocked with goodies but nobody was out and about. I only got as far as tights and funky hair extensions just feeling so tired after completing elfazon's Franken-Fairy outfit.

We are having a party at the Farm on Friday. It would be great if you all could come up to Franklin.
I think asking everyone to bring a bottle of booze to restock the liquor cabinet is a wonderful and reasonable request.
