Hallow Party

The Halloween Party was a great success. I would like to thank Skatha_mare,  rachelly_13, Steve, Amber, and Adam for helping to decorate.
B did not decorate, but helped by cleaning and gather items. We had some people really dress up and they did a great job. We had he-man,an old wizard, witch doctor, and many other cool costumes. I decorated the stairs with mice again and put up the bats. I made the sun room the spider room this year. I also did bio hazard bathrooms with glow-in-the-dark decorations like hand prints, bugs, and slime. I think it turned out very well. I also did my favorite Witch brew with a pumpkin punch bowl and dry ice. I love the way the fog/smoke moves over everything.

I have been thinking that I might not do a Halloween party every year. I might do it every other year. It is fun, but expensive. Plus the Derry House hosts at least two sake parties, two house parties, and other roommates/ friends have gathers here as well.  It adds up in expense and energy. I was very grateful for the people that brought food, and mixers. I would like to thank Wench33 for all the yummy food, she never comes to our parties empty handed usually the hands  are overflowing. Some very nice people even brought booze to share. Without them my punch would have only lasted 2-3 batches instead of the many batches it became. The Witch brew is ever changing because we ran out of vodka, midori, then had to move to rums and any alcohol we owned. I would like to thank fuzcat for bring midori and taking over the witches brew.

The next party to hit us is the sake party in two weeks. I guess I should start to take the Halloween decorations down before the sake party.
Also we have been toying with the idea that maybe for the winter Derry house party well ask all the guest to bring a bottle of booze to restock the liquor cabinet. Does this sound like a reasonable thing to ask guests or not? Any opinions?
