Heh, some people are just ridiculous, you know? Just go check out the Gran Turismo 5 section over at gtplanet.net, and you'll see so many inane complaints it'll blow your mind. I know it's "cool" to act like a cynical asshole on the internet, especially in a game-based forum, but wow"The license tests are too easy

You should've seen it a week ago. People were freaking out over everything, from 'blocky shadows' (whatever that means) to the fact that the Top Gear Test Track challenges used a rolling start instead of starting from a dead stop. Apparently, blocky shadows is a real game breaker, especially when you're driving past them at ~200 mph and only see them for an instant.

But apparently, it was considered proper to act this way over at GTP. Anyone who spoke up and made a thread saying something like "You know what? This game really isn't that bad!" got their thread locked due to the instant flamewar that resulted. The average hardcore Gran Turismo fan is in their twenties or thirties, and seeing this sort of behavior from them...*sigh* Makes me feel ashamed to admit I've got the first four games and even ran a semi-popular website about them at one time.

Shadows: nah. They're just shadows on the road from the trees and things. They don't do anything, they aren't obscuring anything or causing any wrecks, they're just there. The way some people are talking, you'd think they go around to people's houses to beat them up, steal their games, and kick their dog on the way out.

It's just people being INCREDIBLY picky and also trying to look cool by bashing one of the most beloved racing game series out there
