It's been a while
Well, after quite a long drought, I finally posted the next chapter of Still Waters 3: Book 2. This one marks the start of the tournament. Don't worry, this won't be one of those neverending tournament arcs that are the bane of so many shows; this will only continue for three chapters with other important events interspersed between the matches. -

I got out around 5000 words today before my brain's creativity center decided it had had enough and said "I quit!"
I got a lot done on the finale of Misora's magic world story arc, though...it's about 2/3rds of the way done. I just need to wrap up all the awesome fight scenes in an acceptable manner and make sure everything flows properly.

I lied
Indeed I did...not on purpose, though. SW3's next chapter is delayed a week, and is not the climax of the Misora arc. I didn't finish it in time, and had to split the chapter as well, since it was already 11k words at that point ( Read more... ) -
