Sweetie, that was gorgeous. You really are a talented wordsmith. You have a gift for inspiring emotions with your prose, your descriptive phrases. I haven't watched the show, but I love the books. I am so impressed that you fleshed this minor character out so much (unless his role's been expanded on TV), and with such an incredible back story. You've made me want to watch the show now, if it can inspire dedicated writing like this.

Oh wow....

I haven't seen this episode yet, but man, this was deeply touching. I could feel the difference between Godric at the beginning of this and at the end, how he grew and evolved into a completely different being. He felt much more human at the start. I liked how the change was pointed up by the use of Gaelic(yes?) at the beginning but none by the end of the story.

You're brilliant, you know that?
