I'm honestly too tired to make heads or tails of anything I see beyond my computer screen -- which by itself is confusing with the dual-monitor setup I have -- but I wanted to update, and thank people, after my week-long vacation that turned straight into "Welcome back! Hi love, glad to hear your time off went well, and that your birthday treats helped make that day nice too :)

I don't think you've missed anything major really, aside from an awful lot of nastiness going on over at ff.net that is probably best kept away from, and DT on UK TV Sun night in a problem that left most fans wanting to throw things at their TV because his character was such a pig.

Aside from that, nope, can't think of anything

Never underestimate the powers of a staycation (as we call it in the States) and an easy-going birthday was just what I needed. Sleep in, late morning run, video games, then cake... Yeah. :)

I've heard these reporting problems over at FF.net and wasn't sure how big they've gotten. Some of the reports were just ridiculous and others were way too obvious. AO3 isn't the best place to move, imho (too many tags), and FF.net has been around for long that it's hard not to think of the internet without it. Still, I find that it's mostly the people on there that can be more vicious than the mods.

Oh, and this DT thing I've heard about. Is it that awful? Should I date to try and find it?

re ff.net, I'm referring to recent problems caused by a bunch of so called members (actually a couple of groups now), not the mods, well unless you consider that the mods seem to be doing nothing to stop it ( ... )

Yay for vacations and happy belated birthday! It sounds like you had a good trip, and like you've been very busy! All the certification stuff sounds fascinating too. I haven't read Ultimates, but I did hear that's where they got the movie-Avenger's version of Nick Fury...
