I figured that I'd post a small something that is not anxious or sad but about the good things I've done with my life since my crappiness started a couple weeks ago.
Lists, of course, ftw!

I love my Civilization games. I've played them since I was a young girl back when Civ II came out. It's almost like a game of chess but with little units of centurions, macemen, and technology. I love it. :)
I watched the first St. Trinian's only because I wanted to see DT in the second but the first was fun anyway. As long as you're looking for a ridiculous laugh/spoof of Mission Impossible, you've got a decent movie.
Yes, speaking of fluffy distractions, I need to get back into my Classic Who run. It sort of took a backseat to sleeping and not-sleeping which I'm not entirely sure is possible. *shrug*

Sometimes you need to watch a truly dumb movie because the sheer ridiculousness of it cheers you up.
My distraction has been Single Father, of course it's not fluffy at all, but it has lots of DT with his full scottish accent. My husband is even enjoying it. I think my hormones are demanding angst which is odd because I NEVER watch sad movies. I'm an escapist at heart so why would I want to watch something that may make me cry. Anyway is it just me or is DT watching after several little kids absolutely adorable.
Well, I have to go to work now : ( and I have a staff meeting at which my principal will no doubt drop all the brownie points he earned yesterday. He talks forever about nothing. Hopefully I don't strangle someone. I HATE FACULTY MEETINGS. Anyway, enjoy your classic who.

Amy and Rory did *nothing* except run around in identical looking hallways. It was all a bit emotional for the Dr but, without the rest of the cast it made no real impact.Pretty much. Amy and Rory feel like cardboard cut-outs to me, which I've probably said a dozen times over, but how many times must we revisit the same ground with those two? And the onyl bit I cared about was old TARDIS, Classic Who references to ejecting rooms, and the Doctor finally meeting his TARDIS. Although, y'know, now there will be strange kink fic with Doctor/TARDIS out there. I know because I've already read one. Damn curiosity ( ... )

I find that S6 is broken into two types of episodes: Amy is the central figure or she does something daft like run around as if she were a headless chicken. And it totally didn't dawn on me that you'd be annoyed at Rory's lack of medical skill on the show considering he's a nurse. I'm not sure if he'd carry around a med kit everywhere (he isn't a paramedic) but he'd know the basics, at least! Whatever. His poor character is just for dying, waiting 2,000 years, and watching Amy flirt with the Doctor. *huggles Rory* You sweet, sweet boy.
And if you're going to go mad, keep something soft around to throw at the TV, yeah? I have my plushy pillow with me on Saturdays for that exact reason. :)

You know in the last episode Eleven did kick the console and if I remember accurately didn't Ten do that to.
See just hang in there with this series I think that things are going to get a bit more interesting from here on out.
You never know what DW is going to do next.

I think it would be harder for you because you have to do the news letter. I love elevens theme and I think we hear it more on the S5 soundtrack because it is broken down by episode and not by song. And almost every episode has the Doctor's hero time. (cause he is the sexy hero)
Oh stop that sighing you know I just love MS as the Doctor so of course I am pimping him as my hero.

nice to see you're getting back towards your rambling self though :)

I forgot you liked my ramblings. I think I'm back up-to-speed, as it were, but I'm sure it could change at any time. Some sleep might help in that department though, come to think of it. Huh.
