I've done nothing productive today.

Well, that's not true, I've written a half a story for a comm challenge, promised a birthday fic for develish1 (very smutty and using a fic trope I've never attempted before), worked on a new newsletter for Bioware video game fans (biowarenews), ordered a replacement hard drive for my computer with an external inclosure for the old ( Read more... )

very smutty you say? well in that case, get your ass off to bed and get some sleep so you're rested and coherent enough to write it! lol

Only joking hon, my sleep patterns are about as bad as yours, in case you hadn't noticed. I'm just calling it a night at almost 5.30am.

Well, smutty enough I believe. I'm sure once I get to writing it it'll sound/feel a lot hotter in my head. If all else fails, I've got backup plans. :P Can you tell my mind has been in the gutter, even if I missed most of The Gutter's festivities?

0530? I hope you don't need to work in the morning! I need to wake up at 0630 at the very latest to get into work so when I'm barely getting ready for bed at 0030 I'm screwed. What is it with LJ and insomnia? Cause and effect relationship?

with me the insomnia was there already, health issues (so no work right now) and a hubby who works shifts, tends to mess up your sleep patterns somewhat.

Ah, I understand. Mine is mostly caused from stress and anxiety; I call it my never-stopping brain. It's fun when you think of fics to write in your head as you try to sleep but when the clock starts to roll on 0200 you begin to worry....

I agree about 42 being THE answer; and I've never felt the need to count in prime numbers [though you did an excellent shout out to the fiveness of five!].

I love the thought of eating seafood salad in bed watching Iron Man... the more I think about it the more I like it!!

Hi dear, missed you!

Well, if you had been around earlier (feeling guilty yet?) you would have seen my Plot Bunny/WIPs post with two of your fics on there as birthday presents. They were in the plot bunny stage I believe. So, I'm trying!

...Now I feel guilty. *HUGS TIGHT* What can I write for you? You want something smutty? Doctor/Donna smutty? Well.... *thinks about it* I think I might just have the thing for you. Of course, you're more than welcome to give me something else you'd like if you don't want the smut. Something with Amy? :D (Up by Friday, promise!)

I forgot when I counted in primes...a few years ago to calm my anxiety. It worked. I also tried reciting pi for a while. Five! Oh! Five icon!

Iron Man is awesome. Watched both movies and am now craving some comic book action. Plus, y'know, seafood salad.

Is it tea time yet?

I did read that WIP but seeing as the only ones containing none-Rose stuff pertained to me I thought I'd better wait until they actually appeared (don't want spoilers you see).

I certainly don't mind Doctor/Donna smutty. :D But Amy?... Oh no! Nuh uh! Never ever! I don't go there.

It's officially tea time in 12 minutes, so I'll go put the kettle on and cut some cake. It's carrot cake this time. *skips away*

I forgot to mention that I have scones, toasted teacakes and crumpets to offer with the tea?

I'm sorry...I like Rose...I know we differ (and love you all the more for it) but it's really hard for me to argue with a woman who comes out of nowhere with a big gun. I'm shameless, I know, but so are you! ;)

You sure you don't want something else? Really really sure on the Doctor/Donna smutty fic? I did ok on my first smut attempt but, as long as you feel like it's a suitable birthday present...oh who am I kidding, smut is always great as a birthday gift! :D (And as for Amy, I was just pulling your leg.)

As for your WIPs...it may take a while. Too many things going on, particularly this week. Argh!
