I'm very sorry to hear about this Bell Party and their bad rainforest policies. How long until another election? And any chance they would be kicked out?
And don't feel bad about wanting a hair-dryer! I couldn't even go and do what you do, I would find that aspect of it so unbearable. So I think you have a lot to be proud of, and are allowed to yearn for hair-dryers (and any other western nonsense that takes your fancy) if you want to.
I have piles and piles of red wine in my house after the barbecue I had for my birthday. I started with 3.5 bottles of wine before the party, and ended up with about 8 afterwards! Eek! You are very welcome to come over and indulge in it, and if you let me know what kind of cheese you'd like to go with it, I will happily oblige.
