THE FISH ALWAYS MATTER!!!!!

*cough* sorry, but that's a touchy subject. My bff and I didn't talk for WEEKS after the first airing of Moebius and we got into a very violent argument about the importance of Fish (i arguing for the complete and utter alteration of the universe we knew and loved, she arguing that the addition of fish does not necessarily mean it's all changed.)

I'm Team No Fish for life!

That said, I don't view the team as having died in ancient times. We still have the team we know and love because the split in time occurs at the beginning of the moebius arc. So we essentially shuffled sideways to an AU that was identical until the split. And though it's sad we aren't in the original universe, the nature of when the split occured means we can still view the team the same way we viewed the original one.

I think Daniel eventually became the pharaoh Djedkare Isesi (because his parents are unknown) with Teal'c as his advisor. Jack and Sam got a small complex off the Nile Delta and Jack spends his days fishing (but ( ... )
