If you consider the time loops to all be a part of the way time unfolds in this story (which is my own personal canon), two versions of SG-1 died in the past -- first, "our" SG-1, and Daniel the only survivor; and then a few years later, original Daniel and the dork!team, who may or may not have survived the rebellion. I'd like to think they would have survived. They certainly couldn't have gone back to the "fixed" timeline.
The third version is the one that we follow during seasons 9 and 10 and beyond. It's implied, I think, that the timeline's corrected itself so nicely that only certain details have changed. After all, by this point Cam's already crashed his plane, Vala's already on her collision course back with the SGC, and all the plot threads are put back together.
Personally, I would have loved for TPTB to make certain of those details different in 9 & 10 to tease us fanboys and fangirls, LOL. Aaaand I'm a dork with this explanation.
3. Daniel probably went crazy trying to figure out which scholar was right and which was wrong. Teal'c would have died, as there would be no tretonin for him. Jack probably fished. Sam would have gone slowly insane from the lack of intellectual stimulation and the cultural treatment of women. :)
