What kind of a crazy person converted a perfect piece of matzo into a ball? Why? Throwing plain matzo right into a bowl or freshly made chicken broth is a recipe of absolute bliss!!!
Oh and don't even start with me on why the noodles get dunked in there too.
As soon as I came from work, I put a chicken heart stew on the stove. While it was cooking, Belka started on the latkes (doing her mom's and my mom's variations) Since I got kicked out of the kitchen, I went onto the grill. And roasted chestnuts over open fire. Then just to finish off and get full use of the coals made some pork chops.
