[Hey, the lion's out again! He's in the market, and seems to be looking for more bedding. He's gotten a good helping of blankets, that he's carrying on his back as he goes, but eventually he starts pulling out clothes. He sets a sweater on the ground to look at it, and laughs a little.]

That's strange, why's it shaped like that?

Considering you humans don't have anything but a mane, I'm not surprised.

[fierybluebird]

[Switches an arm into a fiery blue wing.]

Who are you calling human? [Amused. But the fiery warmth might be why the guy is comfortable running around in sandals and with his shirt unbuttoned. For now.] You don't exactly look like you have a lot of fur for winter either though.

It's for humans.

[Just breezing on past, doing his own shopping for his still too-bare room. He's met a talking mouse, a talking wolf, and his doctor is a reindeer. Sanji's more surprised he's never seen Simba until now]

The longer parts are what we put our arms through. [A glance at him] Probably won't do you much good.

Hah, probably not. Seems like it'd be warm, though.

[He sort of clumsily tosses it onto the pile it was previously (and neatly) stacked before, using his mouth to move it before moving on.]

I think just a few more of these blanket things, and I'll be off of the cold stone. Man, never thought I'd want to avoid sleeping on something cool.

[Sanji watches on, increasingly amused by Simba's attempts.]

Winter not your thing, huh?

[Simba laughs, grinning.]

Let's put it this way: I didn't even know there was such a thing as winter.

[Mac has never seen a lion outside of a zoo before... until now, that is - and here is one not only puttering around in winter, but musing aloud in a voice that sounds surprisingly human. All this time spent in Luceti and exposed to many shocking and unexpected situations has not at all affected his ability to be deeply surprised; fear knifes into his heart and he breaks out into a prickling sweat, a strange tingling heaviness setting into his legs and making them feel like lead blocks. What if the lion was ravenous? At a humble four feet eight, Mac sensed he was ideal prey. The thought made his throat tighten.

Maybe if he backed up oh-so-carefully, it wouldn't notice him.]

[He notices you inching away, and laughs.]

Relax, I'm not going to hurt you.

Gah! [He freezes stock still as he is directly addressed, prepared to bolt.] ...You ain't? [It never hurts to be a little cautious, right?] But... don' you eat meat?

[redheadlion]

Well, yeah, but I'm obviously not hunting right now.

[ oh, hey, now this is a person lion Madoka remembers. He quite stands out as a talking lion, after all. ]

Um.. It's a sweater. Haven't you seen human clothes before..?

[redheadlion]

I haven't seen any of these things before.

Well, some people wear them! You see, the small holes are for your hands, and the big one for your head..

But lions don't wear them, so I see why you wouldn't know it..

Yeah, I'm still learning a lot about you humans. You guys have a lot of strange stuff.

The princess is minding her own business when she suddenly pauses in her stroll back to her home hearing that voice and staring mutely at it's source. It's a lion. Is it the Black Lion? No. Is it nostalgic? Yes. Kind of disturbing? Yes :(
Natalia opens her mouth to speak then closes it again. Her eyes are so big right now!! Her words are hesitant: ]
To be worn. It's.. human clothing.

Ah, more of that stuff, then. Guess I won't need it.

And what do you need exactly? Just blankets? It is quite cold, I'll admit..

Yeah, I'm trying to get some bedding for the den.
