I'm feeling kinda down, both physically and mentally.
Physically, because this damn throat infection/cold won't go away and my host family tries to push me to go see a doctor and take antibiotics when I don't want to. I'd rather just ride it out and drink tons of tea. They won't/don't understand that.

I finally caught up with your blog, i feel kinda embarrassed for not knowing you'd not be in Leuven, sorry.
Besides the common bad luck with ze bureaucracy, it appears to me you'll be just fine! I mean, a pool! A bathroom of yer own! *jealous*
And hey, the friends thing will solve itself, you're social enough. Once you've refreshed your French a bit, it'll be ok.
In the meanwhile, just relive all the hugs you've gotten from your friends before, and enjoy these virtual ones!
Oh, and put some honey in that tea you're drinking by the liters, it soothes the razor blade cuts. And if it ain't over in a few days, drop the stubbornness, and go see a friggin' doctor ;)
