boot woes

Spring time is so not the season to be looking for boots. Sure its great for sales, but only if you have above average small or large feet. Most combat boots only seem to come mid calf and I need them to at the most be to the knee. And so many of them even on sale are still close to $200. I could try to wear a smaller size but at this point, if

I have, they have nothing.

I think I've looked at every place thay they sell shoes and there is nothing, at least not in my size or if they do I am looking at spending close to $200. Not happening.
