MS 150 Rocked!
Day 1, the 80-miler, was pretty good. Left Cranberry at 7:30; arrrived at Allegheny College in Meadville at 2. (The ride organizers are closet sadists...the very last 1/4 mile was one of the steeper climbs of the whole ride!) Rolling average speed: 14.5 miles per hour for 80 miles...a personal best. Question for the Pittsburgh peeps
Anyone heard anything about Telerama recently? My DSL dropped yesterday afternoon; no biggie, except their phone system and their Web site have apparently headed for greener pastures as well. Still down as of 7:30 AM EST.
I'm hoping that this is something irritating like a downed tree cutting their lines, or their building suffering an extended ( Read more... ) -

I'm going to do the MS 150 "Escape to the Lake" charity bike ride this year. Not that I really need an excuse to ride my bike for hours on end, but still...

The saga continues
I emailed Telerama yesterday for a status update regarding our DSL issues; they got back to me this morning with an amusing piece of news.
Apparently, Verizon's trouble-ticket system has been down for the last few days; Telerama only got acceptance for my ticket TODAY (note: ticket originally submitted last Thursday!!!)
