J crew wool coat

I was having a bit of a debacle trying to find a new wool coat, and was trying to decide between a j crew coat I saw online but was stuck on color for days (red= adventurous and so much fun, black=safe). in the end economics won (red was on sale, black wasn't) and I bit the bullet and bought it. when it arrived today, i just absofuckinglutely loved

thks! only thing is red and lots of snow = dry cleaning costs go up...i might just have to switch it back to black again!

hmmmm i reckon everyone muz own at least 1 red coat!

coz dirt etc shows up easily on a coat other than black...and snow melts into water onto the coat...plus the slush from the ice/snow = higher chance of dirt sticking and showing on the coat!

thks! but i eventually got a black coat again as my staple coat...easier to hide dirt that way!

haiz yea. I totally understand what you mean. although I am wondering if gray or a neutral like dark beige would hide it well enough...also some fabrics are definitely more resistant to dirt than others!

actually yea, I noticed that snow and rain was fucking visible on my black coat (i bought one when i was up in portland over the weekend)...and the irony was i thought the beige looked better on me when i was trying it on in store!! now thanks to you i am thinking if i should go exchange it for the beige one :p
