You know, I don't think anyone ever fully conveyed to me the hilarity that is Pete Wentz on One Tree Hill. southernbangel tried, but she was coming at it from the OTH side of things rather than the bandom side, so clearly I wasn't paying enough attention. Sex with teenagers! Discussion of how people know him through his blog entries! Incredible awkwardness ( Read more... )

Donna. :((((((((((((((((( Just like with TW, I'm totally heartbroken about the finale.

I'm going to see 'Hancock' tonight and I'm kind of excited about it.

Also, I stumbled upon Pete's OTH ep a few weeks ago while zapping and wow. It was both fascinating and cringe-worthy as hell.

I know! They can't leave her like that, right? RIGHT?

It's good! It's kind of like there are two different plot lines that happen, but I did enjoy it a lot.

Completely cringe-worthy. Maren kept asking me if I liked it or if it made me uncomfortable, and I don't know. Both? Oh, Pete.

By God, I hope she'll be back. It would be such a waste to not do anything more with her character.

I just came back, and yeah, it was good. Weird, but good.

OH PETE. :x

I can't imagine they won't bring her back. They bring everybody back! But still. Upsetting.

I had fun watching OTH with you guys, mostly because it gave me the opportunity to snark which I so enjoy doing :)

*mwah*

You did a nice job with your bandom selections- I liked all of it.

*g* Glad you had fun. It was so cringeworthy! And yet so fitting. And completely called for snarking.

Yay! I'm glad. I will have The Hush Sound album for you the next time we get together. (That's Greta in my icon.)

She told me that before we watched them. Trust me, I am completely okay with watching them again. I probably need to since I spent parts of this time just squirming uncomfortably. So awkward, Pete! He is always so bizarrely awkward in front of a camera.

*g* I had to go to your journal to see this. I see that you do! Bandom seems to be a little bit contagious. Have you been reading much bandom fic?

Only the AU's.

And anything in the D/s verse by airgodslove.

And occasionally some Brendon/Ryan.

Shut up.

Of course! Shutting up right now. *g*

Did you read my Brendon/Ryan? It is canon-heavy and kind of convoluted, so no worries if that's not where your interest lies. But. Just for reference. Shutting up for real now. For the moment, anyway. :)

Doodle saw Hancock and told me in the middle of the movie it stopped making any sense. I guess star-crossed gods are not his bullet proof cup of tea.

I had no idea that OTH and bandom intersected,

The plot does kind of make a strange jump in the middle; I can see how that wouldn't have worked for everyone.

Pete Wentz is in three episodes of OTH in the middle of s3. He . . . plays himself. It's pretty hilarious.
