My theory is, and this is based purely in my own speculation, that the hand will have something to do with the Doctor still being Ten. They focused on the hand-in-a-jar at the beginning of the ep, then they focused on the regenerated hand at the beginning of the regeneration sequence. Surely it'll come together that there'll be something different about this regeneration. Because we couldn't collectively not have known that there'd be a new Doctor, could we?
That's true. And I'd forgotten about that. They wouldn't have focused on it if it wasn't important. You're probably right. I *don't* think they really could have kept a new doctor a secret!
I'm not sure what's going to happen at all, but I'm loving every minute of it. The real question I want answered - more than I ever wanted the Cylon identities revealed is what/who is Donna

And thanks! I've seen all of New Who and some of the episodes with Four, but not any of the others. It would be cool to watch some more of them, but mostly I just feel like longtime fans would have had an "OH SHIT DAVROS" kind of reaction and mine was more along the lines of "Davros . . . I remember him . . . I think."
