For about six months songgirl12, executorvs, hunterandprey and I have been rewatching Farscape. Last night we finished the miniseries. This was my second massive Farscape rewatch in two years and just. It just doesn't get old ever, does it? I was only ever on the very fringes of FS fandom. This is what *everyone* says about Farscape. One day I will mainline the entire series and I will WAIL from all the angsty, shippy goodness.

You should totally watch it. It is seriously amazing. And the shippy goodness is UNBELIEVABLE, seriously. I have other ships. I have never had another ship that I felt like *that* about. I don't think it's even possible to ship either of them with anyone else.

ALSO. I am going to be in Chicago in May - my brother graduated on the tenth or the eleventh and after that, if I have my way and can talk my friend Emily into it, I'll be there until the 25th or so before she and I drive to NM. I don't know if that's still a busy academic time for you, but if you're going to be around then, we should totally meet up.

Man, I have to watch Farscape. I have most of the seasons burned to disk from one person or another who all said "YOU MUST WATCH THIS" and have I? Bah, so much to watch, so little time.

I'm going to be horribly broke after the HCT, too. But it will be worth every penny, damn it. I'm totally going to the Vegas show! We will have to have a big fangirl meet up.

Farscape is amazing. If you have a chance, you should definitely watch it - especially if sci-fi is your thing at all. (If it's not I hear it's a little harder to get over the Jim Hensen puppet aliens, but the show is really very character driven and engrossing).

Cool! I am all for a fangirl meetup! I think I'm dragging some of my high school friends with me. That will be awesome because they've been indulging my ridiculous fangirl behavior since we were seventeen, but it won't be the same as having other fangirls to squee with - which I totally want to do. Viva Las Vegas! If I can make this happen, I'm going to be so thrilled beyond belief.

I'm still kind of depressed that it's over. Because seriously, that was practically perfect in every way, but that doesn't make it any less over.

No, and as good as it was, the fifth season would have been just that much more awesome. Stupid sci-fi.
