AtS After the Fall is canon to the extent that Joss is behind all of it, but moreso because it seems to be (so far) everything they planned to do with the S6 they never got to have. And verily, so far (er, one book in) it fucking well ROCKS.

Gunn is vamped, and they are playing coy on his motives AND his sire.

Connor, Gwen and Nina run the demon fighting/people saving sanctuary space that is now Santa Barbara.

Angel is annoyed and has a pet dragon.

Wesley is- uhm, did you read No Limits? Because I'm pretty sure they owe us royalties.

A lot of Spangel is promised. Not that way, unfortunately, although they did make Spike and his swaying sexuality jokes. Also, Connor & Spike interaction along with its assurance of making Angel insane has also been promised.

I for one say BRING IT.

So uhm. Yes? Read it. Read it hard.

I liked A:AtF. A lot. A few things really made me go 'oh, God, THEY DIDN'T!!'. Like what happened to LA. Or Wes. Or the dragon. :D

Yeah, I may have to read this one as it is released - especially if they're following the original s6 plan. MY SHOW.
