[Oh ahaha sorry were you expecting him to just sit idly by when he saw this.

Luckily, he was on a break from his work! So that means he gets away with it as he runs out, quickly putting on a jacket and grabbing his umbrella.

He meets her not too long after the broadcast, perhaps a few minutes, and he stops from his run just in time to put the umbrella over her.

He figures if he hasn't gotten sick from the rain so far, he never will.]

Magoichi! [his voice is near a whine, pitiful as it is but at least he has a reason-] Why didn't you tell me you were so close to arriving? I would've taken the day off to meet you.

[ ...blink. She looks up at him, raising an eyebrow in befuddlement. ]

I did not see a need to trouble you in such a manner.

[ Nor did she actually expect he would do such a thing. ]

[Mrrr. He scratches his head underneath his hood-

... and then he realizes she doesn't seem to have a raincoat either.

He offers her the umbrella handle.]

[ ? She takes the umbrella for him, though she is puzzled. ]

[And then he's quick to unzip his jacket and toss it around her shoulders.]

There. [a content nod] You really should invest in a proper jacket, you know.

The action surprises her. Then she realizes what is going on and has to chuckle. ]

Are you worried about me, Ieyasu?

[ It has been a while since anyone has worried about her in this sort of manner. Her men do look after her, but in a much more distant manner. ]

Being a bit damp won't hurt me.

[ieyasachu]

[... well. He tilts his head.]

No, but I don't want you to fall sick. You've just arrived after all! I can't imagine how you've gotten by all this time...

[He scratches his head as he stands in the rain.]

[ She steps forward and lifts the umbrella over his head so that he is covered as well. ]

[And he sets to take ahold of the umbrella now, proceeding on toward the inn-

His main priority being that Magoichi remains dry, so he may stray from the umbrella's protection now and again.]

How long do you plan to remain in town?

[redbelltolls]

[ She notices, but she will let him be a gentleman if he so really wants. ]

I figured I would investigate this gym matter, as we spoke of before. I am not certain how long I will need to train before being able to defeat the leader.

Well... to be on the safer side, Mitsunari and I have been here for about two weeks or so, if that helps give you an estimate.

The One-Eyed Dragon and Katakura have been here a bit longer though, from what I understand. Sarutobi has departed from this world, it seems... I'm unable to contact him anymore.
