[Oh ahaha sorry were you expecting him to just sit idly by when he saw this.
Luckily, he was on a break from his work! So that means he gets away with it as he runs out, quickly putting on a jacket and grabbing his umbrella.
He meets her not too long after the broadcast, perhaps a few minutes, and he stops from his run just in time to put the umbrella over her.
He figures if he hasn't gotten sick from the rain so far, he never will.]
Magoichi! [his voice is near a whine, pitiful as it is but at least he has a reason-] Why didn't you tell me you were so close to arriving? I would've taken the day off to meet you.
They are! Masamune's still recovering from his injuries and naturally where he is, Katakura shall remain. Mouri should be around as well.
From what I understand, Sanada is on his way here as well. I've spoken with Motochika though, and he seems to be staying in Goldenrod for the time being.
Well, in Mitsunari's defense, I personally wouldn't have stood for more insults to the Toyotomi either. While what he did was uncivil... it isn't much of a surprise to get a reaction out of him when he's provoked so, is it?
[.... a pout. Gosh Magoichi, he's trying his best.]
Well... at least now, since I spoke to Masamune recently, it seems calmer. Mitsunari wishes to fight with him again but if nothing else, it'll likely be a bit less... savage.
Hah, well... I'd rather not blame Masamune either. It's not a surprise that he holds a grudge after he lost so poorly to Mitsunari before.
[He says it very bluntly. Because it's the only way he can keep from mouthing off any other time. He'll defend Masamune but not without a snide remark here and there if he can mask it well enough.
But hey look, they're at the inn! He opens the door for her.]
Likely not, but I've learned much from the defeats I've suffered at the hands of my mentor.
[He smiles fondly, thinking of Shingen.
But hi there, Murkrow! Ieyasu waves to the creature before walking over to the front desk - his momentarily deserted post, oops. Luckily he's one of those people who try to prepare and he pulls a towel out from under it and offers it to Magoichi.
There is also a Teddiursa fast asleep on top of the desk.]
Here, I try to keep spare towels about lately with the rain. Our guests normally come in soaked!
[He chuckles a bit before procuring a towel for himself. By now he's completely forgotten about his jacket.]
Easy enough! Mitsunari's working to keep up maintenance on the inn itself. A friend of mine is a waitress! I believe another is looking to work in a cafe. It sounds easy enough to find one.

Those which Mitsunari inflicted upon him with his own helmet....?

So much for keeping things calm between the generals, though, eh?

None of us like the sting of losing, do we, Ieyasu?

Your guests?
[ Magoichi takes the towel and dries off as best as she can, before slipping off the jacket and offering it back. ]
I appreciate the use.

[But he sits at the front desk, the towel settling around his neck as he gently lifts up the Teddiursa and places her in his lap.]
The people who come to the inn. I've chosen to work here in order to raise funds.
[And he looks to the jacket before grinning.]
Why not keep it until you get a proper raincoat, Magoichi? Just in case you head out again and I'm unable to catch you.

...very well. Thank you.
[ Hmm. She steps forward to look at the desk of the inn curiously. ]
So work is easy to find in this place?
