The Cancer Society made a safety call and have cancelled our Relay for Life. I've touched base or left messages for everyone

So what was the extreme weather??

Our area got off relatively lucky, high winds but one region has been without power and had severe damage including roofs blown off. Gale-force winds hit the country, then a southerly set (read: Antarctic blast) whipped up after that. We had a lot of rain, but you can Relay in the rain.
