By owl, to Percy Weasley.

All right, Percy? Don't know if anyone else has written to you, but everyone's seen about Lucius Malfoy making Minister. Are you all right? Everyone's up in arms about it, I don't mind telling you, and you ought to get out now, before you see something he doesn't want you to. Are your letters getting checked? I bet they ( Read more... )

Well somebody should storm Hogwarts

Just remember, you did ask.

Nevermind using the Quibbler to get messages out to people. We have the internet and there's no reason why we can't use other muggle tools to get our word out. Alright, so no phellytones or computers, but muggles have newspapers too so they must know how to print them. We hire muggles to print pamphlets or flyers or newspapers, however it is that they do it. The Ministry won't know, can't know, that they're being printed at all until they show up in the wizarding world. We should use the same Owl Post everyone else uses, that way the Ministry will have to divide their time and resources to inspecting owls too if they want to shut us up, and we can send them out to every magical familyon Hogwarts' master list. (Thank you Hermione for that copy of Hogwarts: A History.) Of course it will cost money (can we take subscriptions?) and it may break the laws about interactions with muggles... as if the Ministry needs anymore reason to shut down a paper that tells the truth ( ... )

Do I look all right?!

Dear Ronald,

As you might well imagine, things are rather hectic here. There is just so much paperwork involved when power changes hands especially illegally, and I can only do so much to keep up! Minister Malfoy has been diligent in seeking out my assistance in many areas. I seem very expendable in demand at the moment.

Please do remember I work directly for him now, brother. There will be some information about my job I cannot pass onto you for security's sake. How much safer could I be than in the Minister's office?

I did see Madame Bones not long before her removal resignation. She did not seem well, though I've been told she is recovering. I have asked if I might visit her and send her good wishes, but have had no luck yet. She deserves all the rest she can get.

HELP!

Please pass on my love to the family,
Percy
