It is a shame I missed the funeral, as I heard there were several who attended. My condolences to the extended family and such. Matters out of town needed to be taken care of.

I am surprised there was no heir named, but surely the matter will sort itself out.

....

Still no sign of her.

Do you really think it will be that easy? So many people seem torn about who the king should be.

Perhaps? In my personal opinion it shouldn't be that hard to figure out. But my personal opinion isn't what matters.

Unfortunately, you're right. It's the opinions of the royals.

You just might find yourself on the wrong end of a blade sounding so lackadaisical about the state of the kingdom. What could be more important than the passing of the land's beloved former liege?
Oh, but look at how that sounds. It certainly wouldn't be my blade!
This old rubbish is just trying to be friendly~.

Lackadaisical? I think not.

If you were as friendly as you think then perhaps you wouldn't have said anything about it to begin with.

Hey, no need to get all up in arms, now. I'm just telling you how it sounded to a passerby, that's all.

Ouch. Well I guess you might have a point there...but I think I'll stick around. I'm already here anyways, right?

I'm not the one speaking of blades and weaponry here.

Of course I have a point. I wouldn't have said so otherwise.

But will it sort itself out right is the question.

Given the fact that many are in upheaval over the whole situation, I doubt everyone will be satisfied in the end.

Ah, it's okay that you missed the funeral. You just missed the flowers catching on fire halfway though the ceremony, that's all.

By the way, what do you think of the no heir situation?

On fire? From what, exactly?

......As I said, I'm sure the matter will sort itself out. I'm surprised none was named, nonetheless, surely it will be fine.

Allen, the alter boy, had a bit of an accident. He spilled some incense, and some flowers went up in flames.

Hm. Whatever you think, mister.

Ah. That would explain it.

And what about you?
