Yamamoto had just arrived at his office, cheery smile in place on his face as he greeted his co-workers. The IT department was already in full swing, with people answering calls on the phone, answering emails on the computers, carrying all sorts of computer hardware around.

He was in the middle of finishing up a discussion on IT's latest project when Gokudera barged in, blurting out the question about Uri and drawing stares from his co-workers. Waving them off to go back to work he approached. "Uri? You really did bring Uri to work? Hmm...nope, I haven't seen him."

Gokudera knew he wouldn't get an answer from someone who was stuck inside his department, but he still felt at a loss when Yamamoto replied.

"Really," he said, somewhat disappointed. "Where could he be? Tsk, yesterday he was just fine being inside the office so I thought it'd be okay today, too. But he just ran out and was gone. I was...I was thinking that he'd come to you or something..."

Gokudera leaned against one of the tables, crossing his arms over his chest. "Damn, if someone picks him up and kidnaps him -- I should call the maintenance, or the boss or..." Absently, he picked up the phone and dialed the number to Tsuna's office.

And Tsuna picked up at the very last ring, afraid that it might be Hibari or someone scary (Reborn). Inhaling deeply, he depressed the button for the intercom to sound as he multi-tasked. There were a bunch of documents waiting to be approved but he hesitated at every dotted line, wondering, wondering.

"H-hello?" He tried his best not to stammer.

"BOSS!" Gokudera said, realizing that he was talking in an exceptionally loud voice when most of Yamamoto's underlings stared at him. "Boss, uh..."

Why did he call anyway? It's not like the boss would be walking around the building and spotting Uri. He called without thinking, and maybe the boss would hate him now for disturbing his work because of a stupid cat that he couldn't have possibly seen. Gokudera fumbled around for words, thinking of something to say that would be worth the call. In the end, he couldn't think of any, so he just chose an easy way out.

"Base-- Yamamoto wants to speak to you." He handed the phone to Yamamoto submissively, turning to the other man to save the day or something.

There was a cat in his face. There was a cat in his face. There was A CAT IN HIS FACE. There was a... URI! The brunette felt a flash of relief and the start of a migraine all the same time. There was no time to think.

So Tsuna made a grab for said cat and ended up knocking heads with Kusakabe.

In the ensuing chaos, Kusakabe let go of Pesto, who immediately went for Tsuna's behind and bit down, hard.

Kusakabe, alarmed, made a dive for the dog and attempted to pull him off.
