WHAT: Pet woes
WHERE: Vongola and Associates offices
WHEN: February 26
RATING: PG (for srs swearing)
WARNING(s): Uri being a spoiled brat?
Gokudera placed the rather large basket he was carrying beside his swivel chair, under the desk. He opened it a little and patted the creature inside, smiling when it gave a little, satisfied purr. His in-house writers and editors were staring at him when he marched up from the elevator carrying a lacy blue basket -- he was cursing someone under his breath for not buying a less conspicuous cat basket. He ignored them, though. They could look all day for all he cared. He couldn't leave his cat alone at home to fend for itself.
The last time he did, his sofa cover was almost torn into shreds.
He opened the basket and lifted his cat out, rubbing its chin and laying it on his lap. He was expecting the cat to be behaved just like when they cuddle at home, but apparently, it has other ideas. With a loud meow, it leapt off Gokudera's arms, ran through the open door and left Gokudera's office.
Cursing, Gokudera ran out of his office, calling Uri's name, but outside, the cat was nowhere to be found. Tsk-ing, he asked his editors, but no one seemed to notice the feline walking/running about. Panicking and left without anyone to ask (he couldn't very well barge into Miura's office, no), Gokudera ran to the lower floor and asked help from someone who probably knew more about cats than he does.
"Yamamoto!" he called out as he barged into the IT department. Driven by anxiety, Gokudera blurted out probably the most stupid question in the world right now. "Uri...Have you seen Uri?!"
