"Whaddya mean someone tore down the decors and bulletins again?" Ryohei demanded indignantly on the phone as another one of his employees sniggered about one thing or another. He waved the guy away and turned in his seat, glancing at the paperwork the man had left behind. Today's delivery report. Right!

More importantly: "Well, put them back up!" he rumbled. "It's a waste if they're all over the floor all the time!"

He was going to have a word with management about this or something. Clearly damaging Vongola properties..!! The nerve!

Everywhere, was Fuuta's first, mischievous thought but only because he wanted to witness Hibari's reaction to the reinforcements. "You don't have to pay me for them," he replied, following Ryohei as obediently as one could without an invitation. "It'll be a pity if they're not used - don't you think, Sasagawa-san?"

Ryohei ushered Fuuta into his office, leaving the door open because that was his predecessor's policy. Always welcome your employees, and whatnot. He did, however, forget to offer Fuuta a seat, assuming at the boy would.

"I dunno where you got these hearts, but they sound awesome. I'll have the guys put them up after office today!" Even if tomorrow was Valentines already. Must use assets to the max!

MIA SAYS FUUTA PICKS STRANGE BFFS. 8D scarfyoutodeath February 9 2009, 07:33:23 UTC
"Good." Fuuta contemplated for a moment bringing out last year's Valentine's Day decorations (pink bows, again from mother dearest) but decided against it. "I'll just put these down here, shall I?" he asked, gesturing to Hibari's victims in his arms and the desk. "Then I'll go and get you the boxes. If you need any help after work, let me know."

I APPROVE OF THIS PARTNERSHIP. Even if Ryohei thinks Fuuta is just a nice boy. extremeonwheels February 9 2009, 07:37:33 UTC
"Thanks a lot, Fuuta!" he boomed, clapping the new employee on the shoulder and shoving all the trash into his gigantic waste basket. "I usually stay here until late, so if ya feel like joining us on last-minute decors, why not!"

"Why not indeed." Fuuta couldn't help smiling at the older man, who seemed to have cheered up completely. "I'll see you later then, Sasagawa-san."

"Why are you grinning like an idiot, Aniki?" Ipin asked as she spotted Ryohei, who was obviously very pleased about something. "Has cupid gotten to you or something?"

"Pin!" Ryohei exclaimed as he scootered around on his scooter. He stopped abruptly and pedaled backwards to backtrack. "Who's grinning? Am not!" he grinned.

"Yes, you were--," she replied, then correct herself, "--are."

Ipin was currently one of her walks. Since she started working in the V&A, she had gotten into the habit of walking around whenever she was working on projects. It must have been something she picked up from one of her superiors, and undoubtedly, it helped her think.

There were also times when she ran into people who were in situations that helped her put scenes she was working on in a better perspective.

Ipin noted the lack of hearts in the hallway.

"Hibari-san was removing them again, wasn't he?"

Ryohei frowned, then wrrinkled his nose, reminded of what he had been so annoyed about earlier. "Eh, yeah! The jackass ripped off a lot of them on his way in. You'd think it'd be easier to ignore them than reach out and take them off!"

Well, not that it mattered (as much) now, given the new hearts he was going to get from Fuuta. "Are yours still where they are?"

"Ah," she said, a little disappointed too. She then shrugged. That much was to be expected of Hibari, anyway.

Still, she perked up when Ryohei asked her about the decorations in her department.

"Yep, they're still up!" she told Ryohei, not going as far as to tell him that the decor wasn't doing much for their department. Their offices were mostly a mess, even hers - just to a lesser extent.

"So, did anything good happen to you after that?"

"Yeah!" he whooped, pedalling forward a little so they can continue their wandering around of the building. Like Ipin, he tended to go everywhere in the Vongola premises, though in his case, it was to make sure everything was all right with his territory more than anything else.

"Imma getting glow in the dark hearts from someone!"

Because it was Ryohei, especially Ryohei, 'getting glow in the dark hearts from someone' probably meant nothing special. But for him to be happy about it? Ipin felt a little confused.

"An admirer?" she asked, it was the most far fetched idea she could think of.

"Huh?" he replied smartly. An admirer? Well, he supposed Fuuta could be one. The boy did seem to know a lot about him for someone new, though then again, Ryohei did help him on his first days at work. "I dunno about that, but he said he had a lot of extra decors, so he's going to be giving them to us to use."

"Hou--" Ipin replied. So it really wasn't an admirer. Trust Ryohei to be excited about small things like extra decorations. Oh well.

"I guess that's good?" she said, "--anyway, Aniki, I'll be heading back now. See you later?"
