OK, so the baby will arrive in two months, more or less. We are still in discussion about the "A" name...I've previously mentioned that the kid will be named James with an "A" middle name, and there's a good chance we will call him by the "A" name. James Austin Barnett McGraw.

My brother's name is Austin and it's always been the one boy name that I just love.

I like the way 'Sophie and Alex' sounds together for some reason. I also really like Archer too, it was a toss up.

If you name him Axel, then he will always get the Beverly Hills Cop soundtrack when he makes touchdowns at football games or homeruns in baseball games or baskets in Basketball or goals in soccer or whatever you get in lacrosse. LOL

Is there a fundamental difference between Arran and Aaron, apart from the spelling? Like, is Arran a Scots name or something?

Yes, and yes. I don't know how you guys pronounce Aaron, but Arran is not the same. Maybe some more voicemail messages are in order ;-)
