"And I thee," Silence promises, kissing her softly. He should, perhaps, be more anxious about this gathering, but the truth is he is glad of it. Robin had a nagging notion he should have brought something, but the nature of the island is there is very little he could bring that they could not get themselves. So he merely brings himself and that in it's own way is plenty. But he arrives at the home Marian shares with another man - even more frustrating a decent man Robin finds himself liking against his will and finds himself cursing his own sharp hearing. He could walk away but he's never been a coward and he knocks to announce his presence.
