The baby is now 22 mm and it's heart is beating good. I gained 1 kg in two weeks. I took blood and urine tests yesterday, so I will find the results out on the 4th. Not much else to say I guess. I'm still trying to find my voice in this new environment. It's been an inner struggle.

I'm wearing a wedding ring now. It's beautiful. I picked it out a long time ago actually, but James gave it to me to wear for Valentines. I thought that was a sweet surprise. I though twe wern't supposed to wear them until we got married legally , but he said it's ok ( Read more... )

It's not great to be nauseous during Chinese New Year. So much eating and so little desire. I got lots of money in red envelopes though. It's been very cold here. I don't want to go outside.When I haven't been visiting I've been sitting on my growing butt constipated and nauseous. I never appreciated being able to poo easily like I do now. ( Read more... )

There was a feeling of mutual protection to begin with. There are many lingering fears however. People start out with good intentions that soon die. If understanding and forgivness are possible. If acceptance can be long lasting.

I learnt I was eating with chopsticks all wrong and I'm horribly embarrasing myself each time I go out to eat. It's hard for me! I've been trying all sorts of food.
