Last night when I got home from work, I was in rare form. I honestly, truthfully, no-holds-barred hated humanity and was about this close to telling some customer/random person/family member off. It was to the point where I could scarcely control the urge. It's been a while since I've truly been to that point ( Read more... )

You know that if you start HP5 now, you'll definitely finish it probably a good two days in advance of HP6 coming out.

Yeah, I'm actually reading it now. I have about 1/4 of the book to go. It just seems that it went by a bit quicker the first time I read it.

Heck, it sounds like you have time to read it once or twice more before you get 6.

Secretly eating your coupons when you're not looking

Bwahahaha! No, honestly, I'm sorry for laughing at your pain. But...dear god, that was funny.

...I read OotP for the first time a few weeks ago. Now, I'm extremely sad that I don't have money to get a copy of HBP and will have to wait until I can snag it at the library (some six months from now, I expect)

Glad I could amuse you!

Y'know, if you really wanted a copy of HBP, you could hurry and change your name to Harry Potter. I heard some store is giving away free copies to people with that as their real name... ;) Seriously, though, that's very sad. You ought to buddy up to someone who's buying a copy for him/herself.

I tried. Someone else called dibs first.

I wish I could afford the $40 for the big, beautiful special edition B&N has...if I ordered tomorrow, I'd get it on the 16th! Or at least spare the $20 to go fight for one at PriceChopper.

Bah. No book for me. I'll just wait a year or two and then read it, like OotP. I just hope no-one spoils the secret of this one for me, like last time!

Argh, someone spoiled the fifth book for you? I somehow managed to get through that one spoiler-free, by some miracle (read it for the first time last fall), but I'm not taking any chances with HBP.

But I solemnly swear that I will leak no spoilers here. Heh, I can't even discuss #5, because I have a friend who still hasn't read that one yet.
