1. Book memes - I always get irritated at the "italicize books you've started but haven't finished". I want to brandish a ruler and scream "No partial credit!!" Honestly, if I gave myself credit for all the books I haven't finished? Sistah, please! So make a Reasie happy - delete that line from your memes

re 1) I don't consider it as getting credit to mark it as partially read. The two I marked are to say "I tried to read this, but I just couldn't finish it". I've picked up dracula like 5 times and just never made it past half way (similarly for the bible :P)

re 2) Shout back "read the law!" We were talking about getting some "share the road" cycling shirts made up, but the fear is it'll just make the stupid drivers angrier. :(

I am totally okay with single-file cyclists on the road - and really admire the speedy ones because lord knows that I couldn't do it - and will (despite my aggressive driving tendencies) wait patiently for a good chance to pass if it's necessary.

What scares the CRAP out of me is the recent upsurge I've noticed in people who ride their bicycles in the street without helmets and against traffic. In University Circle, that's the most ridiculously dangerous thing these people could be doing, and I am sure they don't know that. *shudder*

I totally am with you on the bicycle thing! It makes me so mad when people yell "get off the road!"

Me too! I don't even have a bike yet, but I'm kinda scared to go any farther than a couple of blocks on one here, even with the occasional bike lane painted in the street.

No partial credit? I refuse to accept that. I suffered through enough of Moby Dick to deserve something. How many pages do you need to describe a whale's ear? Does it even matter? No thank you, I now know how bad this book really is and I do not need to read any more of it.
