Worse than the Depression!

Mar 06, 2009 21:42

Everyone screaming that this is worse than the Depression can now rest easy. In one measure things are worse than they were in the Great Depression: the stock market. It is now falling faster than it did in back then.

I am of the opinion that Obama doesn't really care ...

That's rather obvious by now. Pelosi summed up that person's attitude quite succinctly when she said, "We won!".

Yeah, they won, and the American people are the losers (including everyone who voted for The One, whether they think so or not).

People who voted for him deserve what they get, including lost retirement funds, foreclosed houses, and lost jobs. I really am done caring about it. I'll protect my own.

I'm with ya and am just as angry, as The One's economic idiocy cost me my job.

I refuse, however, to become dependent upon the government as they desire.

Of course they don't care. They think that they are the annointed ones and the rest of us plebs need to learn from them.

I seriously am tempted to move to middle-of-nowhere, raise sheep, cut firewood, and shoot trespassers. But possibly I'm just in a bad mood today.

Four suggestions -

Montana or Wyoming

Australia or New Zealand

They'd love you in any of those places. ;)

New Zealand is crawling with liberals. They won't even let our Navy dock there because the ships have nuclear reactors.

Australia's got some pockets with serious gun-law problems, and is of course AUSTRALIA. Awfully far.

However, I've been thinking an awful lot about Montana and Wyoming. Though the winters are a bit much. Then again so are the winters in da UP and I'd thought about THAT, too.

Check.

Check.

And check again.

Good Lord, what ever made you think about the UP?!?! That place gets as cold as Alaska, for Pete's sake! Brrrrrrrr! O.O
