Its not that big of a victory that he won. Georiga has always been republican for a long long time. I think the fact that the state even needed to do a recount the first time just shows how weak his campaign was.

Strong third party candidates and run-off requirements will do that. :/

Um hello, that happens in every race & yet not every race has to be recounted.

I'm sorry but he was a INCUMBENT REPUBLICAN IN THE DEEP SOUTH that actually had to go through the recount process. There is nothing successful about that lol

Um, hello. It doesn't. Most races don't have three strong candidates.

It wasn't a recount, it was a runoff which is also not somehing that happens in every state.

That's almost triple the margin of Obama's victory over McCain. I wonder what superlatives the press will come up with when they report it tomorrow.

Pffft! Sometime I crack myself up.

Are you forgetting that he didn't even get 50% of the vote the first time around? Why is everybody acting like he actually had some huge victory.. if he had he would have won last month.

Bill Clinton never got 50% when he ran for President.

Way to compare an entire country full of red AND blue states to ONE state that is a deep south red state. Good job.

Woo! and Hoo! I was really worried about that election. Now if Al Franken would only STFU and go away, I'd be even happier.
