Bonus: the Corrie side's oral-argument attorney was Erwin Chemerinksy. (Full disclosure: No, I don't think Chemerinsky should have been jerked around for the UCI Law School deanship, but he's still a flaming partisan hypocrite.

Double bonus: the particular panel OF the 9th Circus was actually a moderate-to-liberal one, by the Circuit's standards. STILL shot down this argument 3-0.

Court didn't reach the merits, really. Stepped aside on the grounds that the case was essentially a political question.

I think they realized this bites both ways. You can't sue over sales to Israel without getting lawsuits over sales to China.

This lawsuit should have been dismissed a lot sooner, with prejudice. Frankly, this is EXACLY the kind of case that calls for frivolous lawsuit charges.
