Shoot to kill: not just for Americans any more

Many people, especially Europeans, have been critical of American policies such as the death penalty and shoot-to-kill policies.

The United Kingdom, however, has learned the hard way that there are simply some people you cannot reason with:

Actually, I would think London police are trained just like military police. We don't "shoot to kill," we are taught to shoot center of mass. It maximizes the chance of hitting your target, and minimizes the chance of hitting innocents behind him. Now... if that just happens to be where alot of vital organs and very large veins and arteries are concentrated... well that's not exactly our fault, now, is it?

The only good terrorist is a dead terrorist.

You don't know that he is a terrorist. The police have said he was a Brazillian electrician who has no connection with either bombings. More information may come to light as to why he was at a suspicious house that is linked directly to both attacks, but for now it appears to be a tragic f*ck-up like the police said it was.

I am not against the "shoot to kill" policy (I am totally for it, because there is only one way to stop suicide bombers), but I also think declaring the guy shot a terrorist without any information to prove it is silly, especially with the police saying otherwise now.
