Random kitchen update

Unfortunately, the kitchen is in a less than operable state due to countless setbacks, including:
-floor tile out of stock
-the borrowed tile cutter not fitting into the car
-the unforeseen magnitude of cabinet painting
-Jason's mom putting everyone in a bad mood (okay, I just sneaked that one in out of spite)

I should post some pictures of our cracked-out kitchen some time. I'm really interested to see how your countertop-tiling project goes!

When you painted the cabinets, did you have to sand them first or did you just prime them?

Well, I happen to be the queen of impatience, so honestly I just started painting. (Don't tell the guy at Lowes who yelled at me about the importance of priming!) And it's turning out great.
