I finished my final uni exams on Friday, so I spent yesterday lying on the sofa finally getting caught up on a massive stack of TV and books that I'd put aside for exactly this moment. She was married before she was even entitled to vote
- Saw 'Skyfall' last night. It was pretty brilliant. Lots of action, basically what you'd expect from a new Bond film, but very well done. Plus, Ben Whishaw. And even the Adele song isn't too awful, though when it played all I could think of was the Jon Richardson joke from last week's '8 Out Of 10 Cats' when he said it sounded like she was ( Read more... ) -
Life is short but it feels much longer
- Films - saw 'Batman: The Dark Knight Rises' last Tuesday, and 'Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter' the Tuesday before (my cinema runs a £3 deal on Tuesdays). 'Abraham' was alright - I wouldn't necessarily have picked it, but it wasn't bad, although a bit creepier than I would ideally like in a film. Nothing of interest
- Wasn't too well there at the weekend. If there's one thing I do well, it's staying healthy - I'm rarely ill, so it's annoying when it does happen. It was only a cold, but it took a few days to feel half-decent again. All better now, except for severe dry skin around my nose ( Read more... ) -
